Robert L. Prim Jr., a retired Master Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, recently donated a tremendous amount of snacks and goods to Family House. For Robert, donating these items was a way to honor his wife, Yoshi.

“The SECU House took care of my wife on a few occasions, and we were really impressed by both the services offered at SECU Family House and the hospitality provided by the staff,” Robert said.

He believes that if Yoshi were still with him, she would have made donations many years ago. With Robert now undergoing treatment at UNC Hospitals and staying at SECU Family House, he says she would have wanted to make some type of donation immediately.

“I figured food and snacks would make an immediate impact on guests by giving them something to eat and/or snack on as needed.”

“I thought that I would do something in her name, for her—Yoshi ‘Gima’ Prim. That is why I made the donation.”

Thank you for your generosity, Robert! Everyone at Family House has been touched by your kindness and generosity.
