Mary Beck

Mary Beck has been a driving force behind SECU Family House since its earliest days. Drawing on her leadership at UNC Hospitals and deep relationships across the health system, university, and local community, she played a pivotal role in building support for Family House and strengthening its connection to UNC Health. As a longtime board member, advisor, and member of the Building Committee, Mary helped guide the House’s expansion and long-term growth, ensuring it could serve even more families traveling to UNC Hospitals for care. More than two decades later, she remains a dedicated supporter whose vision, expertise, philanthropy, and advocacy have helped make SECU Family House a lasting resource for thousands of patients and their loved ones.
