Laura Fisher

Laura Fisher currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Academy for Institutional Investors. She managers the day-to-day finance and accounting as well as tax efforts of the firm. Laura has spent most of her career in accounting within the financial services industry, working at Morgan Creek Capital management. Prior to joining the financial service industry, she worked in public accounting for ten years performing non-profit audits as well as tax preparation for businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Laura previously served as Finance Manager at SECU Family House assisting with the finance and budgeting of the Pine Wing expansion. She graduated from East Carolina Unitversity with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA).
