Emmett White
Communications Manager
Emmett joined the Family House team in March 2026. Emmett studied creative writing and the performing arts at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. Prior to moving to Durham and joining Family House, Emmett, a Brooklyn native, worked connecting FDNY firefighters to mental health resources. In addition to his work with Family House, Emmett runs his own taxidermy practice. He is also a musician and an active, avid bird-watcher.
