Bio
Raleigh-born and raised, Britny is a self-taught pastry chef who believes the best way to learn is through trial, error, and embracing the uncertainty along the way. She got her start in the restaurant world at 20 years old at Beasley’s, eventually working her way up to lead the pastry program at Ashley Christensen Restaurants before joining the team at Poole’s Diner as Pastry Chef.
For Britny, the best part of being a chef is the endless learning — from the people she works with to the dishes she discovers, tastes, and finds inspiration from along the way. Career highlights include being a featured chef for No Kid Hungry in 2025 and seeing one of her Poole’s desserts land on the cover of Raleigh Magazine.
When she’s not in the kitchen, Britny is usually on the road with her boyfriend and their dogs, Baubles and Fen, in search of parks, nature preserves, and small towns around North Carolina. She calls Boylan Heights home and is always happiest with a good adventure and a great dessert.
